My passion for woodworking and furniture design began several years ago. I was first intrigued by woodworking through short YouTube videos that I  came across. My curiosity to learn more and my passion for woodworking was born during high school. My woodshop  teacher at the time taught and introduced me to many aspects of cabinet making and fine woodworking. Since high school I have studied woodworking technology at Conestoga College. During my time studying woodworking technology I have also worked at a custom cabinet shop and custom furniture shop building a variety of projects. I have also worked for a company drafting and engineering saw blades and cutter heads primarily for the woodworking industry but also the, plastic and manufacturing industries.

To me what distinguishes a fine woodworker like myself from an ordinary one is the ability to go about exploring new ideas and creativity. All while making a connection with the material, the process, and the ability to express the richness of the material in a piece of furniture that serves a specific function.

A personal goal of mine is to create a unique piece of furniture that is tailored to your needs and desires that you love. It means so much to me to be able to see a piece of furniture that I created that was driven by personal pride and passion to outlive myself, and can be passed on to many future generations who will apricate the true work of a craftsman.
